Do you feel the LOVE? Or do you love to HATE Valentine’s Day. Not all of us are old romantics, some see the dark side of Love, while others see hearts and flowers.Valentine’s day is almost upon us and we would like to celebrate that fact. Like with Christmas we are opening up a contest region. It’s called Valentine’s Island (search for it on the map in world). The idea for the contest is LOVE and HATE. The theme running through this contest is Valentine’s and whether you Love or Hate it or maybe it’s a bit of both, we want to see your take on Valentine’s Day.
To enter is simple….
Pop along to Valentine’s Island
Pick one of the plots with the Valentine boxes on it
Buy the box to claim your plot (then IM Kuu Cheng the plot number (found in the title of the box), who will then set that plot forsale to you so you can have full Land rights to build your little piece of Valentine’s)
You can then then start building :-)
Very much like the Christmas building contest it's all about having fun and being creative. It is also a good opportunity to invite friends across from other virtual worlds as they can grab themselves a small plot of land to test out building in Avatar Connection.... as long as it's in the theme of either LOVE or HATE (or maybe a bit of both hehe) For our regulars we have not re claimed the plots from the Christmas building contest, if you wish to swap plots or are not taking part, just give Kuu a shout via mail or IM and we'll get it sorted :-)
Good Luck to all...
Rules for the Contest
Only one plot per Avatar
No more than 1000 prim per plot
The build has to have something to do with Love or Hate for Valentine's day… we ask all entrees to either place a short description in the land tab or have a note/sign explaining a little about the build and its connection to Love or Hate of Valentine's.
No more than 10 scripts per plot
No overhanging prims from your plot
The build has to be built in Avatar Connection. (no imported builds :-P)
You may use other ACer’s (members) builds in your version of Valentine's, ie to landscape, add a feature, texture etc.
Any question please ask in the forums :-)
